Welcome to using JSTOR to look for images from Artstor and other collections!
This section of the guide brings together the key information you need to begin working with image content in your JSTOR Workspace, a place within JSTOR where you can keep and organize content.
The information is organized into these keys areas:
Logging in to JSTOR with your Personal Account
In order to save content in your JSTOR Workspace, you need a personal account. These accounts are free and automatically pair to West Sound Academy's JSTOR account when you create one while you are on campus and authenticated through WSA's IP address. NOTE: It won't help to try to use the "Log in through your library" link for access to JSTOR. That tool is for colleges and universities that subscribe to JSTOR and not for schools like WSA.
With a personal account, you can:

Log in in to JSTOR while ON campus
When you are on campus, you are using West Sound Academy’s internet connection, so you are already connected to JSTOR. Here's how to check: Visit https://www.jstor.org/. If you see Access provided by West Sound Academy at the top of the screen, you’re logged in and can access everything West Sound Academy subscribes to.
Create a personal account
The next step is to create a personal account. Your personal account is now paired with West Sound Academy. The next time you want to sign in through WSA, you can sign in to your personal account to get access to WSA's subscription.
Remote access to JSTOR through personal account pairing lasts 365 days. Personal account pairing to West Sound Academy will be automatically renewed when logging into JSTOR while on campus, or by logging in with your Google email for remote access.
