Starting the Conversation - "We Need to Talk College"

Starting the Conversation
In a video, Beth Kobliner explains how to have the initial college conversation with your kid. The 'Have You Had the College Talk?' page gives tips on what parents should do BEFORE they have the conversation and during the conversation(s) - actually, "a series of mini-talks." A video shows Julie and Perry - A Portland, Oregon, mom and her 15-year-old son talking about college for the first time. The We Need to Talk College website is presented by Beth Kobliner, an author and commentator and journalist on money issues.

Where do WSA Graduates go to college?

SCOIR

West Sound Academy uses a college guidance management system called Scoir (pronounced "score"). This online system streamlines the process of requesting, processing, sending and tracking the electronic delivery of all application-related documents. WSA parents and students can also use SCOIR to schedule visits and assist throughout the search and selection process.
