Summer Reading 2016: Grades 10, 11, & 12

Grades 10 and 11

10^th and 11^th grade students have required summer reading for English class.  The books will be discussed in depth in the fall semester.  11^th grade students enrolled in Upper Level Spanish have a specific required reading assignment for this course (see Upper Level Spanish page of this guide). 

Grade 12

12^th grade students are encouraged to read at least two books of their own choice during July and August. Students should be prepared to discuss their summer reading in the first weeks of school in September in their English class. IB students are required to continue their Extended Essay writing, and must focus on completing as much of this assignment as possible, as discussed with the EE coordinator and the supervisor.  12^th grade students enrolled in Upper Level Spanish have a specific required reading assignment  (see Upper Level Spanish page of this guide).
