2017 Summer Reading Choices

The Summer Reading Choices list for students in Grade 8 has 22 books, fiction and nonfiction, in a variety of genres - something for everyone!

 
All students starting Grade 8 in Fall Semester, 2017, are required to read ONE book from the Summer Reading Choices List for Grade 8  AND one book for English:  Animal Farm: A Fairy Story, by George Orwell.
 

8th grade students will be expected to briefly summarize their free choice book in the first week of school.  The required book will be discussed in depth in the fall.
