WSA@Home Enrichment Resources: Get Reading (and Listening) with Sora!

Online resources to support WSA students and families at home

WSA now has Overdrive and Sora!

Sora - The digital library is always open!OverDrive is a digital library offering both ebooks and audiobooks for the West Sound Academy community, anytime, anywhere! Sora is the new user-friendly app that lets you access it through your laptop, phone or tablet.

WSA students will have simultaneous-use access (i.e., no need to 'place a hold' or 'check out') to a collection of Overdrive ebooks and audiobooks through June 26, 2020, and a collection of 'Sweet Reads' for summer from April 15 through July 30, 2020.

The Sora app was designed around the modern student reading experience:

  • Easy to use, one tap to get inside a book
  • Same experience on all devices
  • Add the Overdrive books from Kitsap Regional Library, and then access them from within Sora, using your KRL library card number
  • Personalized with book recommendations and learning tools like dyslexic font, enlarged text, Read-Alongs and audiobooks
  • Direct support for readers provided by OverDrive
