The fifth stage of the research process is to present your work.

Senior Project Panel Presentation

Senior Project Panel Presentation Requirements

  • Speak on the topic using a presentation software for 10 minutes
  • Present your Physical Representation of your Research (PRR) with reflection on the CAS (Creativity, Action, Service) Learning Outcomes included
  • Answer 5 minutes of questions from the panel and audience

Assessment of the Senior Project Panel Presentation

  • Slide show format, presentation and functionality as it supports your talk
  • Your presentation of information, comfort speaking, effective communication, knowledge about your topic, including the CAS (Creativity, Action, Service) Learning Outcomes in your talk:
    • How was this a new challenge for me?
    • What strengths did I discover in myself and what are some of my areas for growth?
    • What part of this project did I initiate and plan myself and where did I have to collaborate?
    • When did I have to persevere and demonstrate commitment to completing the entire project?
    • What is globally important about this topic?
    • What are some of the ethical implications of this topic?
    • What new skills did I learn?
  • Your presentation of the research paper portion of the Senior Project
  • Your bibliography (All members of the Senior Project Panel must have a bibliography and this will represent a significant portion of your grade)
  • Your ability to respond to questions from the Senior Project Panel members

What to expect at your Senior Project Panel Presentation

  • Bring four copies of your bibliography along with a title page with your Senior Project Title, your name and date on it
  • You do not have to bring your paper
  • You will have 10 minutes to present and 5 minutes for Q&A, no longer, no shorter
  • Be prepared to answer questions from the Senior Project Panel members
  • Parents and other guests are welcome to attend your presentation
