JSTOR Research Basics Online Course

JSTOR offers a free Research Basics online course for students.  Research Basics is a series of self-paced, online lesson modules that provide instruction and practice in scholarly research skills at the high school level. This introductory-
level course covers several important areas of learning under the broad heading of Information Literacy, such as accessing and finding suitable scholarly source material, assessing academic credibility, creating and using appropriate citations, and avoiding plagiarism. On completion of the three modules, learners will be versed in topics essential for college readiness.
